CiCi's Story of Hope

Born into a family bursting with jazz musicians, gospel singers, and music lovers of all kinds, CiCi seemed predestined to have a passion for music. When her parents learned their newborn baby was profoundly deaf, their dreams for her became less clear until they discovered Listening and Spoken Language (LSL).

CiCi grew up to be a confident young woman and accomplished dancer. Hear how early identification, quality pediatric audiology, and LSL intervention changed her life forever.

CiCi’s is just one of the stories in the LSL Life series by Hearing First, an initiative of the Oberkotter Foundation. The docuseries offers a look at the amazing goals families have accomplished when they use LSL.
