We welcome proposals from organizations serving families in the United States who would like to introduce or expand a navigator program to assist families in achieving and accelerating early hearing detection, identification, and intervention benchmarks.

Yes. Multiple organizations can apply together unless otherwise specified in the published request for proposals (RFP). However, any proposals developed in partnership with multiple organizations must be submitted by a single lead organization. Letters of support from all partnering organizations must be included with the application. If funded, the lead organization will be responsible for managing and disbursing funds and submitting all required reports to the Foundation.
Yes. Both current and former grantees of the Oberkotter Foundation are eligible to apply for any published request for proposals (RFP).
Unless otherwise specified in the published request for proposals (RFP), there is no maximum or minimum budget for grant opportunities. However, reasonable budget justification is required for all proposals.
No. The Foundation does not fund indirect costs. All budgeted items must be clearly tied to direct project expenses.
Applications are evaluated across multiple dimensions, including—but not limited to—the clarity and strength of the project goals and plan, potential impact, the applicant’s capacity to execute the work, and alignment with the Foundation’s mission and priorities.
